Teen Patti Yono: what it is, and what it isn’t
“Teen Patti Yono” usually means Yono Teen Patti, one of a family of Android game apps that share the Yono name. They’re installed as APK files from outside the Play Store. They have no connection at all to SBI’s YONO banking app.

Short answer: Yono Teen Patti is a third-party APK game app, part of the “Yono” family alongside Yono Games and Yono Rummy. It isn’t made, approved or checked by State Bank of India. Never enter SBI YONO login details into any game, and don’t add money: online money games are banned in India.

The names are similar on purpose, and copies of copies circulate on Telegram and WhatsApp. That’s why it pays to know exactly which app you want before you search.
Yono is not SBI YONO
SBI YONO is the State Bank of India’s banking app. The Yono game apps only borrow a similar name.
- A message saying a Yono game is “SBI approved” is false.
- A game that asks you to log in with SBI YONO details is a phishing scam.
- A “YONO bonus” that needs your bank OTP is a scam.
If you typed “teen patti yono” looking for the bank, you want the SBI YONO app from the Play Store or App Store, published by State Bank of India.

Both play the same game with the same rules and hand rankings. The real differences are where the file comes from and how many fake copies exist.
Checks before installing any Yono app
- Get the file from the app’s own page, not from a forwarded message.
- Check the permissions after installing. Refuse SMS, contacts, call logs and accessibility access.
- Ignore “hack”, “mod” and “prediction” versions. They’re the most common way phones get infected.
- Never share an OTP or UPI PIN with “support” on WhatsApp or Telegram.
- Don’t add money. The Online Gaming Act, 2025 bans online money games, and payments to them can be frozen.
